Vampony-Hunter

No, he’s not a pony-version of Blade, nor is he a friendly neighborhood vampire who hunts his own kind.

He’s a separate species from the vampire bat ponies and he hunts them down partly because…well they’re vampires and kind of deadly…but also because they give his race a bad name. 

He (so far nameless) comes from a race of nocturnal ponies, usually dark in color and with bat-like wings who have existed for a long time before vampire ponies came along.

Diphylla the vampire bat pony was created by accident by one Twilight Sparkle, when her attempt at keeping the bats away from Sweet Apple Acres caused them to go after ponies instead… creating a predatory hybrid.
