Custom Clever

Oh yeah and those lights in his face (and the screwdriver) glow in the dark:

After making Ask Mister Clever OF COURSE I had to make a custom Clever...rather than buying a new toy however I got lazy and painted over my old Matt the Pony custom... I had two anyway. (Well one normal sized and one blind bag)

I realized while doing this that I really love my silver paint and now I kind of wanna find more things to use it on... one thing I didn't have though was something to do the lights with.
I could think of a couple of options:
- I have glow-in-the dark clay. The problem is its fimo clay so it would need to be heated (something I don't think the toy would survive...) also its of the normal glow-in-the-dark greenish yellow color. I would have had to make the lights separately, heat them as one milometer orbs and glue them on later. Not very convenient.
- I thought of just getting some blue or yellow pearls and glue on his wings and face (or attach it before the air-dry clay hardened).
- Glow int he dark paint. Which I had no idea where to get.

So on to Amazon I went, where I found what seemed to be the perfect paint: Tulip Multi Glow Star set.
To be fair its fabric paint, but it was advertized to work on other surfaces as well, plus its 3-Dimensional and (at least for the moment, some five minutes after application) it looks almost just like the glowing orbs on Clever's face.

He has tulip paint on his face, wings, sonic screwdriver tip and a little in his eyes.
