Changeling Types (Headcanon!)

A while ago I made a little “info-sheet” about my own changeling “headcanon” but lately I’ve wanted to redo it. 

Again this is just my headcanon and if yours is different; great, I don’t care. I’m not looking for anyone’s approval. I just want to make my own spin on the species for world-building reasons. 

I only included pictures of “pony”-changelings here…if you remember I also made some changelings based of different races in Equestria…they are still the same species. Their Queen just happens to have been raised by a different species. 

I based their society on bees and ants, which includes the description of workers and drones. In bug society those are not the same.

A bee queen is created from a worker being fed royal honey, because these are changelings I substituted that for the love of a parent, which they consider to be the strongest of love. 
And no this doesn’t mean Alphie is going to turn into a Queen. That would only have been possible if he’d gotten it regularly from birth. 

A couple of odd-balls among my OCs include: Mellifera, who was supposed to be a Queen, but since she grew up in a dysfunctional family (and eventually ran away from that home to rejoin her hive) she never went through puberty, and Strawberry, who was MEANT to be a Queen, and actually has all of the physical features of one (including the ability to lay eggs as you just discovered…) but he identifies as male… As noted above this is not uncommon and would be considered perfectly okay if he was a worker… but since he isn’t his mother got kind of pissed at him and abounded him. Since then he pretty much decided to drop out of changeling society altogether and instead live out his life as a pony. (Albeit a pony who needs love to survive… He survives on the support of his friends and brother.)
